That means it was compressed and rolled to protect it during shipping. A few simple steps will help restore its full loft, shape and comfort.
First-use instructions
These general instructions are designed for Roost fiber-filled and dryer-safe foam-and-fiber pillows. Always follow the sewn-in care label for your specific pillow.
Remove the rolled pillow from the box and outer plastic. Avoid using a sharp blade near the pillow fabric.
Unroll the pillow, hold opposite corners and shake vigorously. Massage and separate the fill by hand.
If the care label allows, tumble on Air Fluff / No Heat for 15–20 minutes. Add two clean dryer balls if desired.
Place the pillow flat and allow up to 24 hours to reach its intended loft and shape.
Everyday care
What to expect
Roll-packing can temporarily flatten the pillow or create light creasing. Fluffing, airing and allowing time for expansion typically restores the shape.
A mild packaged scent may be noticeable immediately after opening. Allow the pillow to air in a well-ventilated room.
Troubleshooting
Compression during shipping temporarily reduces loft. Unroll, shake and massage the fill, then allow up to 24 hours for expansion.
Massage dense areas through the fabric and shake the pillow from several directions to redistribute the fill.
No. Only use a dryer when the sewn-in care label permits it. Never tumble-dry a solid foam pillow.
Repeat the hand-fluffing process and allow the full expansion period. Contact Roost Support if the pillow still appears defective.
Care varies by construction and fill. Follow the sewn-in label on the specific pillow.
